ANZAC Day
On Friday 22nd
of April we had a very special visitor come to talk to the Preps about ANZAC
day.
Steve came in
to tell us why we celebrate ANZAC day, the people we remember on this day and
why it is important.
We were very
lucky as he brought in a coat that was worn by his father in WW1 as well as his
Army uniform and the special slouch hat he wears for ceremonies.
We learnt
lots about ANZAC day and were very lucky to have this opportunity!
